@tiairisper Sure, but I was talking about the western side. Russia contributed a lot too, and they never open their mouth about it, like those americans. Russians have pride and that's good.

@uhurupeak2001 Oh who gives a shit anymore??? It was all a sham to enrich a few people, and Verdun was WW1 a not WW2, so go carry your silly nationalistic chatter to some other forum, or go meet out back to slug it out. For historians, your blablabla is ridiculous.

@91OCB us tanks were quiet weak comparte german tanks, Best tanks was made by russian; battle of kursk proove it.
Before to sayb thanks to american, say tanks first to russian and stop learning history made by your government or your teacher, do your own opinion with all datas not only the one that your country give you. Internet is nice to get international datas

dear Us soldier, I am sad that american start to learn world war 1 and world war 2 with the D day.
US and GB forces were almost 200.000 soldiers. There's one little and the most important fight that yoyu don t learn in your country Koursk and stalindgard from 41 till 42 german lost 1.000.000 soldiers and almost 1.000 tanks comapared to the 2.000.000 loss fromrussians.
I do not believe that the result of the d day will be the same if this battle didn t happen

@michaelmarkpokerstar Just a fact. 8 million soldiers, 1,5 million dead ( GB 800 000, USA 115 000 ), more than 5 million wounded, 4 years of intense war ( USA less than 1 year ), and the first role in the bloodiest battle of history, Verdun.
Yes France is the biggest contribution to WW1, a war they won. That's that.
