  • @TheNightWriter101 You are so wrong and yet right at the same time.

It is a Synth in every sense of a Virtual Synth and it's a Hybrid as it also allows for samples to be used. So it's a synth with bonus add on features so one gets the best of both worlds.

  • @ixcuix Back then Omnisphere was called Atmosphere

It probably didn't make it because it's so expensive and so not so many users I guess.

Rather like METASYNTH which is another amazing synth that most can not afford, no one here mentioned it but it's a killer - hard to get the hang of but it's a stunner

  • @luda82189 @luda82189 - If you mean and want a soft synth that is easy to use and offers class options for sound design - then without question I would suggest that you buy Rob Papen's BLUE . It's got the best Arp and Sequencer on the market for a start, much better than Omnisphere. It's capable of Subtractive PD FM and Waveshaping. It's Modulation Matrix is easy to use and for the price it's a gift.

I own Omnisphere but prefer RP BLUE

If anyone tells you different - ignore them

  • @keogh7776 I am gunna go look up the U-he ACE now! Thanks for the heads up. Alright, I was just trying to clear things up ;)

  • @Koshi0koshi i knw its not a synth in terms of additive and subtractive but i put it in cause i have all the ones i named and its a great tool for getting ideas on the screen, in my opinion its the best place to go for piano sounds, check out "film piano in omricon" its amazing and the best ive heared yet!!!! if i was to take it out id throw U-he ACE there in its place, the most underrated synth EVER, 70 bucks for a real analog sounding monster. thanks dude

  • @keogh7776 Nexus doesn't count, it's not a real synthesizer, just a rom player (rompler). It has some powerful sounds, but its way too limited to even be useful for people who like to make custom sounds.

  • go and buy a second hand clavia nord rack, and then you can tell you have the real shit not shit software of shit!

  • why isn't synplant on here?!?

  • That free version of Zebra doesnt sound anywhere near as rich as this - wonder why ?!!

  • (2011 synth list)

    1. omnisphere

    lol
