Try playing Lee's bass lines (and singing) simultaneously, Lifeson's guitar riffs/arpeggios and solos, and finally Peart's syncopated drum rhythms. None of the above is easy to perform.
The "musicians" in many of the so-called bands of today would be completely and utterly out of their depth i.e. bands like say McFly or U2. Rush's complicated awesome music could well be described as being on a "timeless wavelength"!!
Does anyone else agree?

Great idea but they got the pronunciation of barchetta wrong. The correct way is bar-ketta.

I don't want to criticize today's music because it will make me sound old. But the lyrics of this song tell such a great story that keeps you hanging to see how it ends. Who writes lyrics like that any more?

my favorite Rush song- I only got 17k miles on my last set of Good Years LOL. My collection GTX 70 V code 6 pack, 72 cuda Panther pink Dan Gurney AAR tribute , 67 Lotus elan, 70 Lotus Else Europa, 53 Series C Vincent Black Shadow, 52 basket Vincent Rapide to name a few; the haters here quoting a Ferrari miss the point of this rocking video. @bj50123 Well , lets look at who has " NO CLUE"! Please, by all means, feel free to share your opinion, without reading any other posts, or God forbid you read the description of the video..... I know what a Barchetta is (cars are my life) I just didn't care to use one
