This video is not meant to advocate inaction, but thought on how you would react in an active shooter scenario. This video also gives some basic facts on how police respond under active shooter protocol.

  • Thanks for the laugh dude. NuttinFancy thoughts there bud?

You got some goofy ideas alright.

  • @WyomingJoshuaAK47 Nothing goofy about what I was talking about. :)

  • This is all well and good as long as police arrive relatively quickly. I think most of the time the situation could be long over before the police arrive. To me that's the whole point in carrying a gun. As you stated the appropriate response is definitely dictated by the situation but I think you are erring on the side of defense a little bit just to counteract the "one-man army" mentality.

  • @gboyd242 Like I said, if the opportunity presents itself, then it's up to you on what actions you should take.

  • Smart video. I do have a problem with my hot towel though. It smells like someone jerked off into it.

  • @bisquik3006 ...that is your early Christmas present....enjoy :)

  • Great vid!

As a ex LEO, the after shooting aftermath can be daunting.

    If I was to use my weapon;

it gets investigated by internal affairs,

if death is involved there's a coroners inquest.

Then it goes to the grand jury.

Then the person you shoot or their family will try to sue you, get NRA insurance. A quick decision can alter your life forever.

Expect to spend a year in & out of court rooms.

    No different for civilians.

A CCW is for you & yours protection, it's not a hunting license.

  • Agree 100% In my mind I only have a responsibility to defend myself and my family. I will be moving 'away' from gunfire when given the choice.

  • I disagree with this video a little bit. Not that it isn't a good video...but if some crazy guy is out killing innocent people near me, I'm probably gonna go after him to save lives.

  • @Alexn1067 Not anymore. Pretty much every department changed that in the 90's.

  • the only problem is that traditionally, cops just set up a perimeter and the active shooter has a killing spree until he runs low on ammo then he kills himself.

  • @WyomingJoshuaAK47 Damn, why is everybody hating on this bruver? He makes excellent and solid points...wtf?

  • Good advice, good video..

  • I like what ur talkin about.

  • Thanks, USAFMILLER! Yes, secure what you can, and who you can. REMEMBER, lawyers love stupid gun owners. A 100-yard distance, as in IHOP shooting, is NOT in your immediate CCW space! 10 yards or less, it is a threat against you/co-workers/family/sweetheart. Any more than that, it becomes dicey. The BHP was designed for 85 yds, not 100 yds. Would I? No.10 yds. or less, if 'my' 10 yds. and my and my people's safety is threatened, shoot, then holster the gun clear from my hands.

  • Great vid bro
