I totally agree with you. Im not from america and the day that happened most people i know and spoke to didnt care either. Alot of people just felt sorry for themselves, look at the people in the middle east and africa, those are the people we all care about. They have nothing

I'd like to see some evidence where the people in the WTC were "using" people and "stealing their money." Without that, you are just hating people who make more money than you do.

The way i see it, after 9 years i think its time the nation puts down the tissue and picks up a brick to build a better future. Sure they can still remember, but they don't need to be so "waaaaaa" about it ya know? Crying about it will not bring those people back. The best thing to do is rebuild the WTC and resume business. Thats what i think on this.

I can't argue with you VH. I had the same thoughts you just expressed while the fires were still smoldering.  Most, if not all of them were in the banking industry, which is an industry based upon fraud and usury, as you stated - FD and service workers excluded.

you know, I wanted to disagree w/you, but you make a good point about other tragedies. You don't seem to be saying you're glad anybody died, but why should they be more special than those in other parts of the world...who died as a result of a system that used them.

Wow -- what a heartless person you are. I have never looked at 9/11 so much as mourning the victims and their families; it is unfortunate that so many people died on that day. What 9/11 means to me is how dare the radical group that committed this crime do so on the soil of this great United States of America. And now they must pay for their crime. If you can't mourn the victims, can you atleast support the thousands of military pesonnel fighting to keep this from ever happening again?

The downfall of the USA will be, like many other civilizations, apathy. Apathy, or as you put it, "not giving a shit". When people don't care about their country or fellow countrymen, the nation loses the very thing that made it great. I can only imagine what will happen to America when we have a country full of people who "don't give a shit". Imagine if a generation of apathetic citizens were the people living during WWII, it's a scary thought. I bet you love the benefits of the USA though.

@VirtualHolocaust So let me get this right, just because they were "rich" that means it isn't as much of a tragedy then if they were all poor people? Wouldn't you be appalled if someone said "oh it isn't a much as a tragedy because it was mostly poor people"? Just because they just happen to have more money then other people, that doesn't mean that they are better or worse then someone who doesn't have as much money.
