  • please someone help me im 20 years old im just not sure if i should take propecia and minoxidill because alot of people say it causes bad side effects and i really dont want that and yet alot of people say that it doesnt cause any serious side effects im so confused because i want a treatment for my hairloss and now i dont know what to believe pls some1 answer this question or tell me where i can go to get a good answer,

  • @paspoert123 with all medications, there are risks of side effects. i personalize believe that propecia is very safe. however, you must always speak with a prescribing doctor about the risks, benefits, and limitations in person before starting.

  • @samlammd thnx for answer docter, i researched very much about propecia and i know the benefits and so on , but what i want to know is if i experience any side effects will they go away after i stop taking propecia i mostly concerned about the sexual side effects.

  • @paspoert123 there are things on the internet that claim permanent sexual side effects. i have only had one reported case out of thousands from my patient base. i personally believe side effects for propecia are temporary.

  • @samlammd Thanks for the advice docter , i think i will give it a try. I was thinking of getting a treatment of propecia with minoxidill.

  • @paspoert123 cool.

  • Nah man... I know quite a few people who got sick off propecia. Merck should have never released that drug.

  • Took propecia at 20 for 8 weeks...Stopped taking it, I am 27 right now, and the side effects have not gone away. I have erectile dysfunction. Go to the propeciahelp website to see relative stories.

  • @DouglasA1974 thanks too!

  • Great video on prostate cancer, good information thanks!

  • Taking it for almost 15 years- no notable side effects other than full head of hair . Taking it profilactedly , should of been almost bald by now. probably avg 3 pills a week for last 10yrs.

  • i've been taking it for years, never noticed any diminishing sexual effect
