Water level approx 1131 ft, with water running over top of flood gates, shot on April 12, 2008 one day after lake set all time record height at over 1132 ft.

Yea that the reading the corps takes when recording the official water level. All lake levels are taken officially by sea level elevation.

No, that's the elevation above sea level. Beaver Lake is about 200 feet deep at the main channel on the upstream side of the dam.
