@Queeenfrannie I believe the japanese equivilent of Louis IS Rui. So as the japanese try to say Louis, which his father named him, it ends up coming out Rui. ANNNDDDDD L and R are practically the same thing in japan, you need to understand. There is no L or R. Just a half sound between them both.

My friend (exchange student) at my school is named Airi and we pronounce her name AiLLLLi as she requests because the sound even sounds more like an L. Fwew, i hope that helped :)
