I think that the opening sampling and the drums distort the mood of this song.In my opinion, they are inappropriate.The video is not bad and the pictures are nice.In the beginning it seems to see a picture of a tomb in Staglieno Cemetery

Cool video. I like the water effect in the beginning and end. I guess I am neutral about the drums; its an interesting spin on the song but like someone else said, it sort of takes away from the wistful quality of it.
Good work though!

Hmm... Kudos for the remix and the video. The drums do add some "zazz" to the song, but they are mixed in WAY too loud and static. They change the mood of the song, and it loses it's wistful, contemplative quality.
I'd love to hear another version of this remix with softer and more dynamic drums, less "tin" in the ride, and some variety in the drum patterns.

Thanks for the feedback. As you noted, the drums do put a very different spin on the song. I have always loved this song and I wanted to give it a new spin, even though it is admittedly a little too strong. I created this mix about five or six years ago when I first picked up a copy of "Acid Pro" software. I also agree that there could be more rhythmic complexity, but I don't have the skill to do so.
