Well, with 300+ dead at 1 million infected, the death rate is about 0.3%. Sounds like H1N1 to me. The problem is that the people self medicate and can buy useless antibiotics over the counter there. A surgeon has described autopsies of the dead people and described what he found as complete destruction of the lungs by the virus which has nothing to do with pneumonia. Again, when complications arise that is what you would expect H1N1 to do since it frequently leads to severe respiratory events.
