Toll roads were used as far back as the Roman Empire as a way to raise revenue for their own enslavement. The NAFTA Superhighway that's being constructed in Texas is the beginning of that in the US. The money raised goes to further fund your own enslavement and has nothing to do with upkeep as the infrastructure is falling apart. You have an MTA fee even on your cell phone bill..wtf
