Salmon Hatchery Nimbus Dam Sacramento Area Nimbus Fish Hatchery

This Hatchery has Trout, Steel Head and Salmon. Very popular place to visit especially when the Salmon are running around the middle of October. Its totally free even the parking. Its off of hwy 50 and Hazel in Ranch Cordova bordering Folsom. Its part of the American River, Nimbus Dam. There is also a Salmon Festival here too.

This place is the hatchery and you cannot fish there. But the law says you can fish the other side of the bridge upto the dam. Rancho Cordova, CA. hwy 50 and Hazel. Theres huge salmon here to catch.
