I think its also interesting to consider that packaging cosmetic enhancement in a cute pink and shiny way totally belittles and trivialises the violence inherent in these procedures.

Consider that this could be a normal and acceptable advertisement if the product was a make up kit. Replacing an acceptable product with an extreme, suggests that the message we are giving our young girls is the same.  Whether it's lipstick or collagen injections, your natural state is not good enough.
