  • Oh, so what do you propose we do if some of our historic architecture is destroyed in an earthquake or a fire? The plan is so poorly drafted they would not be able to be rebuilt. And it is NOT much more expensive to build higher... it is more expensive to build out because of land value.... you are only protecting your narrow, bourgeois interests by voting yes (and since when is 60 feet all that high?)

  • Measure B has NOTHING to do with sprawl, affordable housing -- all the affordable housing in Santa Barbara is being built at under 40'. 60' tall buildings are MUCH more expensive to build and the housing becomes expensive condos. Measure B will help preserve and protect Santa Barbara, the city and the city's environment. Vote for it!

  • Yes on Measure B! To hell with social realities! To hell with suburban sprawl, affordable housing, and the environment! I'm rich, don't live in downtown, and want everyone else to suffer!
