I had the pleasure of being onstage with Kenny and the Hinsons, they were the REAL DEAL! Kenny, as GREAT as he was, was a VERY NICE HUMBLE man. He is TRULY missed, and was a PROS PRO!! He had an ANNOINTING and there will never be another as good as he was. God has a great group in Heaven and I am sure Kenny is one of the leaders!

This song is an excellent example of the gift that Kenny was entrusted with by God, as he makes mention of that in the video of the "lighthouse" and I also believe that if Kenny had accepted the contract to sing and write country music the gift would not be their, but thank God, and the open ears that Kenny had that he didn,t accept it. I have had the privledge of meeting The Hinsons during the 70's and 80's as they traveled through the south Georgia, and north Florida area.

Lord have mercy, this is still SO good! There isnt a singer ANYWHERE who can sing with such power and annointing and from the heart like Kenny did!! NOT POSSIBLE. He and his family were the best.Thank you for posting this wonderful memory!

I love hearing this song about His name is Jesus! Kenny has the stage presence and the voice that anyone should sit up and take notice and know His Name is Jesus. I love this song and all the ones the Hinson's sang! Without a doubt the best group ever! Talented doesn't even begin to describe Kenny Hinson's voice! Everyone in the group is good, but his musical ability was absolutely amazing! I think Weston has a lot of his talent and I know he would be proud of him!

This video proves what I've always said: Listening to Kenny sing on albums is NOTHING like hearing him Live. I remember as a teenager when I'd go to their concerts..even though I knew every song.. heard them a thousand times..I was still in total awe when Kenny would sing live.

There's a lot of good gospel groups but I believe that The Hinsons were and are the best. I have their CD live and on stage and have been blessed so much listening to it. God bless The Hinsons.

@2winninghands I really do enjoy listening to Kenny Hinson and what a blessing he still is to me. And you are so right I can't wait to get to heaven to see him singing around the throne. I can't believe I haven't ever heard some of these songs until now! But he was and still is the greatest singer I have ever heard! WOW!!!
