The next time you have a thought - any thought - stop and ask yourself "who is having this thought?"
The answer, of course, will always be another thought.
Ask yourself again, "who is having this thought?" Once more, the answer will only be another thought.
Every time you think you have an answer, ask yourself, "but who is having this thought?"
This is the self-inquiry method of practice. By practicing this, you learn firsthand that no thought really describes who you are.
The closest we can come is to say "you are Infinite Awareness."
But who is having this thought? To whom does the thought of "Infinite Awareness occur?
Thought can never find its source. It can only find more of itself. Who are you, really?
The "you" that any thought describes is just a thought. You are what is having the thought of "you."
I really wish you would have recorded your own voice instead of that robotic weirdness... Very distracting.
