And some just degrade themselves in exchange for a job. Meaning,; they don't like it, but still do it.

I've a friend who was offered something like that. Gorgeous looking girl. She said: "Excuse me, I think we speak different languages" stood up and left. The look in her eyes (when she told me the story) was the coldest thing I ever experienced in my life.
