Score now 5-1 Ducks, and the Devils get a power play goal from Grant Marshall who deflected a Brian Rafalski point shot, to make the score 5-2 Ducks. That would be the final score and the series tied going back to New Jersey for the final game, Game 7.

This is where a true story begins for me. My cousin and I were watching this game and after it ended, she proposed the idea of camping out for extra tickets to Game 7 on Monday, as she had heard a bunch of people did for a previous game. These extra tickets being unused comp tickets given to players families and friends. So we decided on a time to go, though I don't remember what it was, lol. We wanted to get there early enough to get a good spot in line, but not too early so we didn't get ushered out with the Nets fans, as the Nets had a game the night before Game 7, on Sunday.

Meanwhile I get to bed around 3AM, and you may recall I was working for a local minor league baseball team that summer. We they had a 1PM game that next day(Sunday), so I got maybe 5 or 6 hours of sleep, lol. By early evening I was dead tired. I actually napped on a table in the training room after the game. It was then that I first had reservations about going. Eventually I went home, still tired and was still iffy about going. Several times I nearly called my cousin to tell her I wouldn't be going. Then she called and we discussed a small change in plans/arrival time(I think), and we hung up. There was my opportunity to back out. But I didn't do it. So I guess I was going, 5 hours of sleep and all! So, I drove to her house and from there we traveled to the Continental Airlines Arena.

The story continues in the next video!
