@cuzziman84 No offense (seriously, I don't hate the Rangers or anything, I'm a Blackhawks fan) but do modern-day Rangers fans really even know the origin of the Potvin thing? It seems like it's the type of thing where people just yell it on cue without knowing why.
IMHO (though I am biased) the one thing that will really remain certain in years to come is the fact that DETROIT SUCKS!

heres the funny thing about rangers they are easily the most clueless fans there is. irony of them saying he says is funny because he went on to be the best defensmen the game of hockey has ever seen he annihilated orr's records leaving him in dust and forever second to potvin .. don't believe me do the research

30 years from now Rags fans will not evolve, nor spell correctly for that matter. The Rags will not win another Stanley Cup.1994 was obviously a fluke as any real hockey fan knows, but one thing will always remain "consistent", Rags fans will always chant "Potvin's Cups"!!!!!!!!! I am an absolute loyal true Blueshirt Rangers fan and it was a clean hit...but you gotta admit it's fucking hilarious that after 30+ years even though he's doing Panther games that at any point in a Rangers game regardless of who they are playing, we'll get POTVIN SUCKS!
