@JaymarkRadio No need to thin the paint unless you are using a very small diameter tip size. I did not thin my paint at all.

@partyongarth420 I'm new to spraying here. So, you suggest to thin the paint when you runit through a machine sprayer? thanks. -Jay

Nice work :)

you are a pro man :P

@rich6955 : I dont have the swivel. The hose is so long that I didnt have a problem with it tangling over itself due to not having a swivel. Personally, I don't need it.

i love my magnum x5... it works great.. 40 gallons no problems so far.. well worth 300 plus tax.. i got mine from home depot.. on that note home depot employees are very dumb. when i was new to spraying they suggested i shoot paint and primer mix with out thinning it and it was spitting and i thought it was a problem with the machine or gun.. damn home depot really sucks. do the world a favor and buy ur graco at SMALLER RETAIL. PLEASE. even if u gotta spend 2 dollars extra
was the finish nice and uniform when dry?

How was the over spray with the X5?

@ScarsandInk : I only used it to prime the entire room and then do the ceiling, so overspray wasnt an issue since it didnt matter. I used a roller on the walls. also, there was no furniture or carpet in the room, so i didnt have to cover anything up. any place that overspray might matter, i wont use the sprayer.
