Benchmade 630 Skirmish Review - Epic Framelock For the Win

The 630 Skirmish is quite possibly the best titanium framelock Benchmade has ever produced and it's certainly my favorite by a long stretch. With its massive 4.5 inch S30V stainless blade, thick yet surprisingly carry-able framelock and subtly recurve, the Skirmish is a full on red blooded tactical knife equally at home in hand to hand combat and in more mundane utility tasks. It's size, balance, construction and design all set it apart from any number of other high quality framelocks and make it a truly epic piece of hardware.

Hands down one of if not my top favorite knife of all time. Score: 11/10, the knife is greater than the sum of its parts.

@2dividedby3equals666 It's going to look nice. So far I've jeweled the blade and mirror polished the titanium scales. I'm going to be doing some lime green overlay with a black or a white racing stripe inlaid into the overlay. I'm thinking I'll make the backspacer out of lime green G10. It'll be pimpin'.

How do you like the 635 ?

@BBQofDOOM A little less than the 630 but it's still a great blade. You don't get the sense of awesomeness that you do with the 630, which is just so honkin' massive. My biggest complaint with the 635 is the milled in grooves, I wish they just left it blank because I like to customize my framelocks, but that's just me.

I really like the 630 and the 635. I thought I was ordering a 630bk from someone who supposedly had connections from les de asis, but I got ripped off. Got my money back though. I guess if it sounds too good to be true it probably is lol. Oh well, today, I'd rather have a 635 any day, the 630 is awesome, but it's too big to use IMO.

The jimp on that knife reminds me of the model 53's, some people don't like it, I think its nice it works good with my calloused OTF thumbs.
