The Laura Ingalls Wilder Park and Museum in Burr Oak, Iowa is a great place to learn about Laura's experiences in this midwest town. We offer guided tours of the Master's Hotel where Laura and her family lived and worked in 1876. In this video, we show a new sign being installed. Our museum is a partner with Silos and Smokestacks National Heritage Area, and they created this new sign for us. I miss all the excitement in Burr Oak. The National Heritage Area Silos and Smokestacks seeks to share the story of America's agriculture. Many cultural institutions and museums are part of their network and all they all recently have gotten nifty new signs that say so. Glad Burr Oak has theirs.
