From KETC, Living St. Louis Producer Jim Kirchherr goes underground for a rare tour of the Cherokee Caves. Located in South St. Louis, under the old Lemp Brewery, these caves were at one time used to store the Lemp beer. And back in the 1880s, this wealthy family added a swimming pool and performance stage to the cave for their personal use. Since then, most of the cave's entrances have been sealed shut, but paleontologists continue to do research on the fossils and bones that remain.
