@bonezillion i totally agree; people say that you're beautiful and you don't have to change yourself, but that's hard to accept since every ad seems to tell you "you're not perfect, but we are, so use our product and you will be"

Dove is extremely hypocritical, they do exactly what they're 'against' in their adverts for you to buy their products!

Even if they only do this to make us buy their product, the message is still very true and necessary.

@bonezillion I know how you feel. I overcame that because i realised how "plastic" they look. Even the teachers would talk about how they were a shit load of makeup so don't feel bad. And to all those guys, they don't deserve you. :) Just live life to the fullest

i hate dove.... terrible company , they use palm oil. they destroy something that is beautiful . they destroy forests and they destroy the animals that live in them. its cruel .

I think this is a very true message. This starts earlier than you can imagine.. I remember being bullied everyday because I was a little bit overweight as a little girl and wore glasses. Whenever I look back at pictures of myself I don't even see a fat kid... it's insane... It makes me cry that other children made my life a living hell because I didn't fit the beauty standards.. when I even wasn't that big for a little kid.. it's disgusting...
