Me singing The K'e composed by Celius Dougherty at my recital.

Madame Butterfly/geisha photos just fit the mood for me even though these are actually lyrics of a Chinese poem.

  • Have you ever tried to slow the song down? It might make it les punchy to the high notes.

  • @babycat5545 to be honest.. this recording is about 6 or 7 years old and haven't sung it in a long time. For my nerves I can't sing too slow for breath reasons and dont want it to drag.. The high notes need more smoothing out really and prolly more breath support haha. :) Thanks for commenting and the suggestion though.

  • gorgeous technique. i loved every minute of your video :))

  • @omgitsrebeccab thanks so much for commenting :). I hope you get to record something soon as well.

  • wow! has anyone told you that you sound similar to Hayley Westenra? your voice is beauitful! great job! I love how hauntingly beautiful this song is!

  • To be honest, I don't think I have heard of her before. I see she's been in Celtic Woman. She has a lovely classical voice. Thanks for introducing me to a new singer. I shall have to look up more of her songs on youtube. The Dark Waltz was gorgeous.

The haunting quality of this piece really drew me in. I immediately liked it. There should be more haunting melodies out there. thanks for the compliments :)
