Truck Parking Fail - South Africa (Eish)

Who says South Africans cant drive? This guy managed to parallel park his 20m flatbed truck at a thirty degree angle between a generator, gas bottles, petrol pumps and parked cars. He even managed to miss the rose bushes and park bench. This could so easily have gone horribly, horribly wrong. I was kinda expecting sparks and a massive explosion, but the trailer managed to jam itself in before causing any real damage. Tow tuck arrived a few hours later and by the next day the garden wall had been repaired without any sign of damage. n Boer maak n plan. If it hadnt have been for the fact that I had the video camera, it might have been as if it had never happened.

Yeah, this could easily have turned out very different. The forecourt was full of cars filling up fuel. People in the convenience store, propane tanks, etc.

Sum total of the damage turned out to be 1 cracked concrete retaining-wall block, valued at about $10.

And numerous pairs of indelibly stained underwear.
