Sarah Palin is a moron! I can't believe she has kept herself on television for all this time. She doesn't know anything about history nor politics. Palin thinks Africa is a country and not a continent, Paul Revere warned the British, and has no clue what the Bush Doctrine is. @politicalarticles The recall election was a huge opportunity for democrats to show that the strength of the democratic party. Had they been able to turn over more seats, they might had been able to say "look the general population agreed with our ideology". It certainly stands to reason that if Obama had done some appearances in Wisconsin he could have swayed some votes. But, I guess he was just too tired and really needed that break.

The tea party didn't want to raise the debt ceiling. We said that was a bad idea. Liberals fought for months saying raising the debt ceiling would be great. Of course the liberals always get their way, tea party hasn't gotten one bill passed and of course we got downgraded. How in the hell anyone can say this is the tea party when we wanted the opposite, it's liberals that are smoking the crap and we're tired of the hypocrisy. You all will answer to the people for your lies!

@lobestarter1 the "tax increases" actually was just ending the retarded corn and oil subsidies. THe oil industry has had record profits, they don't need subsidies to explore for oil! These subsidies go against everything the Republican party supposedly stands for and you can't even agree to get rid on that! This is ALL politics, the GOP leadership has made it clear that their only mission is to eliminate Obama. Even if that means driving us into a double dip recession.

An increase in taxes absolutely 100% will drive businesses out of the US. Take the state of Illinois for example. Illinois gov. Is going to increase taxes on Corp in Illinois, and immediately caterpillar, sears, an Boeing began looking for new location to base out of. Do you think that is a coincidence? No, it is not.
