As we watch Houston city worker Calvin Miller replace culverts in Houston's Sunnyside neighborhood with his 30-ton Gradall, we listen to him dish dirt on the city's broken performance pay system. Calvin, an equipment operator from the Crosstimbers district, is blogging from Nov. 8th to 12th at HoustonWeHaveAProblem.com.
even then laborers are required to run equip at there low rate. 5.15 to 6 or 7 a hour. some with years of service.

shhhhh, the city of alamogordo in new mexico only pays equip operators about 8 to 10 dollars a hour. laborer for city are still at 5.15 a hour or 6.
