I do apologize to all, that wonder why I made the last comment, but , my Fathers 2nd name was McDonald & when I was a child I asked my grandmother why he was James Mc Donald & then our Surname .. She did not answer , till I got older , then told me the History ...

The Mac Donalds / Mc Donalds , ,, they did not all die, out , in , Glencoe , nor , was , that Memory ever erased ... From the survivors .. Many OF THE FEMALES in the Families from Ireland , bore the Mc Donald Name & passed it on to their Male children ,WITHIN THEIR 2ND BIRTH NAMES , when they emigrated to Canada.. The Name lives on, from those that lost their Family members so many Historic years ago !!! Hands reach across Seas , Borders , & across Time !!!

Its GLENCOE andthey were murdered by the CAMBELLS. The order was given by the English but carried out by the Cambells on 13 February 1692.

As a McCleod I can only say never NEVER trust a campbell they are all sly foxes no good and still are hated by many clans this name should be erased and never repeted

i have to say it is a good vid and i am happy about it because i am a MacDonald but u got one detail wrong it was the clan campbell that had killed us in our sleep not the english but they were hired buy the english but the point still is it was the campbell a scottish clan that should have known better not the english
