Just a little tribute of the style I practice.
This is the first level of the style its done by Nagae and 8th Dan in the style if I'm not mistaken(not much info) the copyrights of the material belong to his grandson witch he gave permission to anyone to use as the please as long as it was reasonable.
NOTE:These was filmed a long time a go(20 years maybe)and has been changed in format 3 times so the cuality aint perfect, but still apreciatable
The way he moves is so harmoneous and beautiful......>(^-^)<

Thank you so much for sharing this. The Japanese Sakura music is a perfect backdrop to a highly elegant Iaido performance. Arigato gozaimashita!!

Actually this film dates back to the 1930s, but what is most unfortunate about it is that it could have reflected it's maturation from Shimamura Ha, but doesn't!

I really like his chiburi.

Very nice! The only thing that IMHO takes away from it is the name of the technique often overshadows the beginning movement and tend to distract the eye. Other than that ...

I dont think this video was filmed in 1986. I would guess mid 1960's.
