Let's Play Oblivion part 82

Read the description in the first video of this LP for the list of mods being used in this Let's Play. I simply am not willing to provide help and support on getting these mods to work - if I can do it, you can too. Use Google. Take your time.

I'm trying to do my best to roleplay through this and do what my character would do. This LP will not feature the Main Quest. It is not interactive.

I was going to say this in this episode but I got distracted with my ramblings. I thought briefly about installing a mod for vampirsm but then decided against it, because

a) I'm going to try to cure it, and so hopefully won't be spending long as a vampire anyway, and

b) once again, i'm scared of breaking the game ;)

I think how vampirism works in TES, is that the more blood you drink, the more human you become. The less blood you drink, the more of a vampire you become, and gain increased vampire abilities, as well as disabilities, such as damage from sunlight and people being scared of you, etc.

My experience:

(Gets Vampirism at level 7 or so) - "Oooh cool I'm a vampire!!"

(Walks into daylight) - "WHAT THE HELL HAVE I DONE?!"

I hated being a vampire since you need like 5 grand soul gems to cure it and I remember closing some gat just to arrive in daylight and die :P

I doubt I'm right, but the way I always saw it was that the reason you got stronger when you went without drinking blood was because you became more and more hungry for it which changed you more and more into a vampire. When you drink blood it kinda just calms down your body and the desire is gone so you become a bit more human. But I'm probably wrong :P

umm vampires dont EAT people they just drink there blood and it doesnt really harm the person that mutch if the vampire only drinks a cup full the average human body has 2 cartons of milk so i think they should be alright :)
