This is not a good thing.. the dog is in a leader mindset here acting like the baby is his own toy.. this is not something you should encourage as when the baby gets older he will still treat the baby as if he is higher in the pack.. ONLY A PACK LEADER PROTECTS ! THE DOG SHOULD KNOW THAT YOU THE ADULT PROTECTS THE BABY NOT HIM and its important you establish the baby HIGEHR in the pack than the dog.

just so you know i have a dog that looks exactly like marley and she had puppies and every single time anyone other than my mother or i would get near the cage she'd make those exact noises . we asked the vet and she was doing it because she was protecting her own . i guess marley is just showing you that she's not your daughter anymore hahaha .
