Swiftly browsing thru some of the factorypresets on the Kawai SX-240. Also trying out some functions like mono-, split- and dualmode + portamento and glissando.

  • This sounds like the Kawai K3 (analogue hybrid) but without the digital envelopes!!

  • the very first patch is my FAV!!! awseome!! could i get the settings for it?

  • i want it... if someones selling, let me know

  • I really like Kawai products. I think they are very underrated. I have a Yamaha CP30 electric piano (all wood) and I think the SX-240 would look fantastic sitting on top of it, not mention be a great old-school compliment to the CP-30 (also old school). I'm not sure if the SX-240 is hot enough to warrant my selling my Alesis Ion, but with the 61 keys and analog brass sound it's temping! I already have a Kawai K5000 and had a K3M. All are really cool synths, especially that K5000. It's a beast.

  • My favorite factory preset of the SX-240 is the celeste.
