When most news outlets and certain news magazines cover stories involving
sex offenders, the first thing that often comes to mind is that the suspect is a
male. But nowadays, the truth is coming out more and more that the term "sex offender" bears no specific gender.

Such is the case of Robin Leigh Pagoria, a now-former Polk County deputy
who may well be regarded as one of the most maligned child pornographers in U.S. history.

We will follow this story as new information develops.

Absolutely not! On the contrary, pornographer I think, is too soft a term.

As I was writing, I suspected I might have to clarify - pornographers (usually) do it for pleasure, not torture. Abuser - sadist, I think, is an apt term for this woman.

Sorry, Tube, but semantics don't differentiate the facts, nor does it change

my position for the following reasons:

1) Not all pornography is "pleasurable", intended to be pleasurable,

or even depicted to be pleasurable to various audiences, especially

if the content is akin to that of S&M.

2) The definition of pornography doesn't change, especially where the

law is concerned in regards to CHILD pornography.

She is what she is, and if she were MALE, would you question it?

This, I would question!

The definition in law is deliberately broad (to encompass adolescent sexuality and drawn images - Sex Trade Union rules), and its application in law (and the media) is grossly misandric.

if it were a male as victimer it would be a death sentence. but its a women, nothing will happen to her. After all, ask a Family"?" court, if its not in the childs best interest, that this case go no futher because of the potentally damaged mindset of the child to testify. A wrist slap to the female perp.at most, she'll get lots of empathy,simpathy,and hand wring (bless her heart ) But DEATH wouldn't be good enough if it were a male perp....So whats left of our society, Biasedly-thinks.
