  • Man you have no idea how incredible it is for me to sit down and watch a boxing video on YouTube and actually LEARN something.

  • ROFL @ your MJ

  • Always good to hear from you!!

In a time where doping in sports is rampant I think it is legitimate to ask a guy to have random blood testing done. Mosley was never caught doping, he admitted when under oath. Pacquiao has never been caught but it doesn't mean he's clean just like it didn't in Mosleys case. And actually at 147 lbs 8oz or 10oz gloves can be used. Below 147 is only 8oz but at 147 and above 10oz gloves can be used. PS I'm starting to think Bob Arum is holding this fight up more than FMJ is.

  • @Shamyrl FMJ isn't any authority? What do you call this demand for random testing on Mosley, not Marquez, on Ortiz, and Pacquiao?

In regards to timing I agree and personally I think back to Vernon Forrest and Shane Mosley. I have always said I thought the person who could beat Maywether was Forrest.

FYI the ONLY AUTHORIZED glove sze for all title bouts 147 and under is 8oz -FMJ is trying to sell us more BS.

The weight should be 147 and under then whatever on fight night I agree with FMJ

Joshua Clottey covered up the entire fight so don't use that example. From Margarito's shattered orbital bone to Shane Mosley going into survival mode so early into a fight, yes he's devastating these guys. The reason Pacquiao didn't look that fast was because of Marquez's excellent timing. Timing always negates speed. FMJ isn't any authority but neither is the Pacquiao camp andthey still had Mayweather agree to the glove size, ring size, and weight penalty which is absurd.

  • @Shamyrl "he is definitely devastating them" So, Joshua Clottey was devastated? In regards to speed I think Marquez dispelled your notion of Pac maintaining it. His speed looks a lot faster against guys like Margarito, Clottey, Cotto, Hatton, David Diaz, DLH etc. But once again even though Pacquiao held a speed adavantage over Marquez it didn't look as great as it did vs. those guys I mentioned. As far as the blood being drawn, I wouldn't do it either b/c FMJ isn't ANY authority in boxing.

  • @boxinginfo

Pac may not be knocking guys out but he is definitely devastating them. Pacquiao hasn't gotten technically more sound as he has gotten older but he has definitely gotten stronger and maintained every ounce of speed. Since when does a guy stay just as fast while getting stronger in his 30s?! Even Victor Conte said Pac's improvements are suspicious. The guy turned down 40 million dollars because he didn't want to have blood drawn and you don't find that weird?

  • @me1570 I often wonder how much controversy there is or was over in the UK when only the referee would decide the outcome of a non title fight that went the whole distance. He would go over to the guy he thought won and raise his hand, no score cards or tallying.

  • @me1570 Thanks for bringing this to my attention! Robert Hoyle is a standup guy but this Somebody's gotta win is B/S. The new video is uploading as I type and I scored 2 rounds in this fight even when I rewatched it yesterday.
