Metropolis Street Racer: Club Paris

I wanted to put up this footage to let you listen to my favorite music track from Sega Dreamcast game Metropolis Street Racer. MSR is a great game with loads of original music. Richard Jacques composed Club Paris and many other music tracks to that game. He has also composed music for example to Sonic R (Sega Saturn), Headhunter (Dreamcast, PS2), Headhunter: Redemption (PS2, Xbox) and Mass Effect (PC, Xbox 360).

Sadly, Youtube transcoded my file, so it is now quite blurry. Large picture especially is horrible. And of course it also transcoded my file from stereo to mono.

Update (Nov 12th 2009)! I decided to put mp3 track at filesharing service. Nov 20th 2009: Edited mp3 file tiny bit. You get download link after giving your emailaddress here:

Update (April 14th 2011) Wey Hey! I don't know when it has happened, but it sounds like the music in my video may be in stereo now. Maybe YouTube has upgraded their video showing method. And large picture is not thaaat horrible anymore. :)

Welp...Bizarre's a thing of the past.

Sadly, I wasn't a big fan of their work (PGR is a tough series to get into, IMO, and Blur turned out to be 'meh' when compared to Split/Second).

PGR is a bit tough, but quality series no doubt. Where they went wrong, was to use music from many different people and bands. Metropolis Street Racer has original soundtrack made just for it. Fur Fighters from Bizarre Creations is one of the best games ever made.

You may be thinking about race tracks and not music tracks. From Wikipedia: MSR has 262 race tracks. Of course not all of them are "all new" tracks. Great variation nevertheless. MSR has 27 great music tracks. You can find them by clicking a link in my video description.

Sadly Bizarre Creations is closing its doors February 18th 2011. :(

see this gameplay with this music, makes me cry with nostalgia. it´s impossible to go much further in racing car games. not even in a PS100000 you will find one so good as this. trust me. LOVE MSR. thanks for posting this video :)
