  • @dclark12553 That is interesting. I know of many higher functioning autistics who self abuse. It shows you there are many shared traits, despite the differences on spectrum. I hope you are doing well. I'd like to share that since July of this year, we asked doctor to try nicotine patch to elevate choline in his brain (he was deficient on an fMRI). Nicotine patch has definately helped him with focus, mood and he's not punching himself so hard, he's more easily directed. Ask you doctor about it.
