I honestly always found this killing the wife scene really unsettling...it's got this wierd "intimacy" to it that makes it a whole lot more disturbing a death than some slasher flick. I mean, can you imagine being forced BY your wife to strangle her to death or to let your child die? Utterly intolerable situation the guy is in.

Cleaning the thing, like a cow will lick it's baby clean. They cut that shot out in some foreign markets and the implication was even worse, they thought she was eating it.
