hello..looks very nice.. i have a question about this way to smoke oil..or with a ti pad..its still combustion. i read alot this way is more healthy..??but why? its not vapor?

im looking to get one of these.. i dont know if vapor globe or with a ti pad.. but,hell, they are expensive..

i think what you're referring to is the small percentage that actually comes in contact with either the Ti plate or glass nail. once it does it forms a gas pocket of burnt/vaporized material that in itself is hot enough to vaporize the rest of the product. if you're really good almost none of it should actually touch the surface.

personally i feel like you lose more to burning and vapor escape with the Ti swing, but you can get a bigger hit because of the heat retention.

the point of these things is to not use fire directly on the product, be it hash oil, earwax, amber glass, or any other extract. radiant heat vaporization is always cleaner than chemical combustion. dont believe me, try solar toking your amber glass with in clean piece some day.

this isnt about how fast i can get a bowl packed and ripped. NOBODY in a hurry over here...nawmean? =)

@medicinemanhb you have no idea what your talking about. sure in first grade they teach you about radiant heat is better then chemical combustion. but in the second grade they teach you that not all combustion's are the same. Try looking up Negative ionization before you speak on all chemical combustion being worse then radiant heat, that is simply NOT TRUE! Read a book stay in school, "Nawmean?" haha.  I prey you don't have a college diploma. When you have life to live your in a hurry!

i guess since i'm such a dumbass i'll have to ask you for a link about negative ionization as it relates to infrared radiation effects on cannabiniods.

i use a lighter 95% of the time. i dont like using a vaporizer on buds and i dont always have access to concentrates, but given the choice this is how i'd smoke all my meds, esp if there were a better and more defined selection of source strains.

@iamshevanel i had the swing before but broke it recently. this is the replacement. it actually costs less by $20 than the swing, but i had to get a new larger gauge downstem to accommodate it.
