Well House Republicans stood strong against the Porkapalooza that will saddle my children with an unbearable burden they don't deserve. $800 billion to a trillion dollars (with interest) and that's just this year and doesn't count TARP or SON OF TARP. $3 trillion I heard. I've lost track. I will find some links to help out on this. But for now ... her are your House leaders who tried mightly to create jobs at a lower cost For more go to radioviceonline.com

  • its already passed, but what would have happened when they read it and passed it exactly as is? would you bitch and complain then? no matter what happened we were going into deeper debt anyway, but this time the money is being spent on us here in the states instead of on 2 wars and foreign countries. this country needs this stimulus; when was the last time we saw a major infrastructure package like this passed, when eisenhower was pres? stop whining and go with it. you can bitch when it fails

  • The US will fall from being the leading World Power economically and militarily. How much interest do you think this $787 Billion will cost the American people, try $400 Billion in interest. so how much is this spending bill, at the end of the day it will exceed $3 Trillion. So you say, get over it, it passed, who cares. All Americans should care, no matter what party you belong to, this bill is wrong, and Congress should have had moretime to read the entire bill prior to signing. Unacceptable.

  • Who cares? Are you kidding? Try the US falling from the leading position of World Power, economically and militarily. Does that get your attention? Ask how much money is accrued in interest payment on this bill, try $400 Billion in interest. So how much is this spending bill? At the end of the day, try $3 Trillion. And you "don't care", "it passed", "get over it" is the comments on this blog? I dont' care who you voted for, this should be outraging our country.

  • Wow what a mess!!! I am a registered Democrat and did not vote for Obama because I new his experience would lead to just this type of ridiculous spending and further corruption. I wanted Hilary but the Democratic Party stole the nomination from her. For me, she should have been the President. I voted for McCain and oh how I wish he had won. I am really scared for America.... God Bless the USA...we need it

  • doesn't matter what party. They all nod their heads like the doggies in the back window of the car!

  • *yawn* who cares? it's done now, get over it.

  • You have to admit it's hilarious that the first Democratic bill to vote on is all Republican "no's" and they supposedly are not the party of "no"? Change huh?

That said, I'm against the bill too. I don't see how devaluing our dollar is ultimately gonna help the middle class. Maybe I'm wrong but it is funny how far apart democrats and republicans are on this bill. I see recession as our medicine for all our foolish spending... we are just slowing the process.

  • Sound fiscal policy priceless, for everything else, there's Uncle Sam's Master Charge.

  • Twice as many for half the price -- but no liberal agenda. The Democrats are trying to break the country purposely.
