I had tickets to see these guys in March of last year in Toronto. They broke up a week before the show happened. They have easily been one of my favourite bands in the last 8 years of my life. Eddie's guitar playing is like a mix of hendrix, sabbath, hawkwind, blue cheer, kyuss and the stooges all into one? Does anybody know why exactly they broke up? I heard it was from drug problems but don't know the story behind it. And has anybody heard any of their stuff after they broke up? If they do.

I just listened to 2 fu manchu cds...the first one and a newer one...no one rides for free is really really good, but the other one I didnt like that much
