@Yesterdays92 Heh, just the never-ending roll of time. People probably said the same thing when open-air shopping centers and downtowns were being pushed aside by enclosed malls. Now we're going back to open-air malls and probably downtowns. Cyclical is the best way to describe retail trends.
It's not just here, it's everywhere! The economic downturn is taking it's toll. Stores are chaning their business models. Only malls in more affluent areas are doing fine and are receiving updates/remodels..
Everyone else is left with Wal Mart. Sears is watering down their brand... putting shopping carts in Sears is low class. Outdoor malls or "lifesyle centers as they're called are taking over! Damn, I hate getting older!
