My Grandparents fled the Fascist Mussolini, had olive skin, were dirt poor and were called awful names...My parents had hard lives and died poor. I am disappointed to realize that while I was raising my kids to rise above the awful past and treat everyone equally, and never stoop to using slurs, many blacks were teaching their children that my children were nothing but crackers and oppressors.

@charlesmustang No one is comparing anything, just providing facts about the lives and times of those who choose freedom over fascism. Freedom can really suck sometimes, because it's about the individual. Liberation Theories are about the collective. I disagree with that form of religion and government. My salvation is my business and I don't want Gov. poking it's ass into my life or afterlife.

I've heard this/white people really believing the delivered black people out of barbaianism and into civilization. Be honest with me. Are you serious? KuKluxKlan people aside, are there really regular middle-upper class whites walking around thinking that nonsense? But I know the answer is yes. And I work with them and see them in Los Angeles everday. Of course out here, they think they're so liberal, they're beyond racism but they'e really the worst. Shows like Famil Guv make racism cool.

Companies would easily hire an uneducated and/or less qualified white peson and train them on the job over an experienced and educated [even masters/higer degree] Black person for the same position. you know it. I know it. most people on this internet know it. So why in 2011 are we all still pretending racism doesn't exist?

that was funny and true as a white person myself i know there are dozens of opprotunites and entitlements that are offered to me which are never offered to minorities but, i just wish that black people would take more efforts in improving the quality of their neighborhoods and their self image the gangster thug and hip hop culture image is damaging to all black people.
