far as the 703 part goes, it seams like one of those things you can take in two diffrent ways. Death Cab really likes doing things like that so that when you get it the other way you can get , "ahhh!" factor. lol. Great lyrics and awesome song! :)

Hate to be an asshole...but I think it's 703 as in area code. The group is from the DC/ Upper VA area..and that's the area code.
That makes it even more genius to me and meaningful. Great Song.
