This was my 28th jump, from a C-23 Sherpa, on this little tiny drop zone at Fort Campbell, KY. The winds were really high and all I could do was turn into the wind and watch myself drift backwards. The parachute was an SF-10A, which is a toggled steerable rig that has 10 knots of forward acceleration, but evidently the winds were much higher than that. I came 5 feet from my first tree landing. Good quality video though, fun to watch and relive.

  • @monimstarfox im not sure if you can request it, but i want to also! operations in Central and Southern AMerica hell yea

  • "and thats another day at work" awesome lol cant wait till i get a shot at SFAS

  • I think I was on this jump. If this is the one I'm thinking of, there was a 101st unit out at the MOUT site by the airstrip. Apparently they didn't know we were going to be jumping that day and their CO got all butt hurt about it. I also think half my stick ended up in the trees while I landed about 30 feet from the Eagle's Nest gut truck... good times

  • Thank you for posting this video. I have jumped Los Banos and Sukchon several times. This really brings back memories for me.
