@Boobslayer89 Though Preest's mask was influenced by Rorschach in Watchmen, it was primarily based on Claude Rains' film of H.G Wells' novel "The Invisible Man".

they made the preview completely wrong and i think that was one of the things that confused viewers. they made it seem like eva's character was the one ryan had to protect but it was his dead sister instead. this movie was fantastic if your willing to have an open mind and try to pick up on certain details most miss

god this movie was good.. im probably the biggest fan of eva green ever, she just keeps improving immensely with each movie... cant wait for cracks

I thought this movie was amazing and I stuck with it through out knowing that there would be a purpose to the seeming displacement of Meanwhile City and reality and it ended beautifully! Well worth watching. Eva Green played Emilia really well and it is one of a kind.

too true. it is rare that a movie makes you think in the way this one did. if you'd like to see a film with a similar sort of character study I would watch 'Jacobs Ladder'
-
This is definitely Watchmen-esque

i completely agree with you, i watched it today and i felt so much emotion at the end, its so artistic in many ways, its such an original film, best thing ive watched for a while tbh
It wont win awards but i can see it having a cult following.
