In honor of Xanadu's closing, here is the first song of the show.
Cheyenne Jackson, Kerry Butler.

  • I miss this show so much, it was such fun.

  • It's reveling in the campiness of the original movie.

  • I love love love Kerry... but I have to say, her voice sounds so much more controlled here than in some other recordings (that haters bash on her for) but there's no denying Kerry is M.A.Zing here.

  • Kind of ironic. Critics hated the film but they loved the broadway musical. Fans loved the film but hate the broadway musical.

  • crap

  • HOLYCRAP...WTF did I just watch...that was horrible!

  • Xanadu the legend lives on!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I don't know. Good thing it closed, because it just ... tries to hard to be funny. The OG was awesome! This play?! Creepy. Not as funny as it was meant to be.

  • @prkendora Yeah, that's the joke. They are all playing females as the muses, but the men have to double as other characters.

  • I don't like the send up. There are no male muses. Check with actual mythology. They are all female.

  • I LOVE it!
