@tehamburgler bro, calm the fuck down. look at the date. it's when DH and freeride was allowed in Big Bear. but yeah now it sucks, but it still is alright for xc and just regular trail riding.

Hey quick question... been dreamin of finally mountain biking for a long while now. my mom agreed to take me after i finish high school (should be a few weeks)
any suggestions on where to go? i live in la so like mountain high or snow summit or big bear or anywhere good should i go? my first time on a real mountain but believe me... im extremely good on a bike :) thanks

Snow summit still does MTB... Theres a(I think maybe more then 1) sweet little single track if you take a left and thats about all the DH they have left... the rest is just fire roads

they have to have 6 inches or less and the tires have to be 2.5 or smaller i think? something like that

what are the limitations on the bikes? cause if it was on suspension travel I think a travel adjustable fork could solve that

yeah take a left after you get off the lift and follow the trail, it gets super tricky lots of rocks a couple log jumps rockgardens the whole thing, me and my friend actually got lucky the other day and they let us up on our dh bikes up, man they are fucking them selves in the ass, dh'ers would pay good money to ride those lifts and trails.

Snow summit up in big bear,ca.from what I've been told they are no longer running full day lifts for bikes.
