Amazing 60 yard goal in last minute by Iñigo Martínez! (Real Sociedad v Real Betis)

Sunday, November 27th, 2011 In early October, Martinez let fly with an outstanding long ranger to pull a goal back in an eventual 2-1 defeat to Athletic Bilbao.

On Sunday, Martinez won Real Sociedad a La Liga match at Real Betis and it was with another shot from his own half after he had come out of defence in the dying seconds of the match.

One of the best bits about the Martinez goal is that even though the defender ripped off his shirt to celebrate, he was not booked. Presumably the referee was too stunned by the goal to notice.

This goal won Sociedad the encounter 3-2 and is a contender for goal of the week (as well as goal of the season) in an already packed field of golazos.
