Can The Good Folks of Southern IL PLEASE rid themselves of the cesspool known as Chicago? I recently visited several other states and when I was asked where i was from I had to explain that I was from Southern IL not IL. Many people thought I was just joking around but i was serious. If you wanna find the place in America where Chicago is hated the most just visit the rest of the state, especially the Southern 1/4. They take our money and resorces to feed the gettoites.

So all this is about is corporate america wanting to continue where they left all. People have a short memory apparently. They are so easily manipulated by ads, media spin and don't take time to do their own researches Its really the people who are destroying themselves, imo.

we hate Chi town in central illinois too!!! the chicago politiians took away from our kids programs such as 4-H. I was lucky enough to make it through my 11 years as a 4-H member and 4 years as a FFA member. These programs do not get enough credit!! they really have helped me become who i am today and people from chicago do not get to expierence these program so they think they are worthless!
